Box at Penn State offers secure, content-rich, and user-friendly data storage and content sharing. Box allows content to be stored online, so it can be accessed, managed, and shared from anywhere. Users can acess Box on mobile devices or seamlessly sync files to laptops or desktop computers.

GitLab is an open-source software platform where members of the Penn State Community can share and collaborate on code. The service is intended for faculty and staff as an administrative service. It is not intended for coursework, nor for use by students.Additionally, GitLab users can:

Yammer is a communications and collaboration platform used by many different groups across Penn State, but which is especially heavily used by IT professionals to ask questions of other IT professionals.  It is open to anyone, and is an excellent forum to directly ask questions of IT people.


Zoom unifies cloud video conferencing, simple online meetings, group messaging, and a software-defined conference room solution into one easy-to-use platform. This solution provides video, audio, and screen sharing options across multiple platforms, including mobile.
